The first weekend in September traditionally belongs to the Slovakian Wine Festival. They start on Friday evening with an introductory program, on Saturday with a parade with representatives of villages from the region, and are followed by a night of open cellars on Vinohradská street. We recommend booking rooms in advance for this date.
